Carmen Jessenia Giagrekudo

My name is Carmen Jessenia Giagrekudo. I am an Indigenous woman of the Muruy-Muinane ethnic group, born in Chorreras, Amazonas, Colombia. From a very young age, I was blessed to walk alongside my father and grandfather, Rodolfo Giagrekudo Pacaya, who guided and instructed me in the ancestral knowledge of our traditions and sacred medicines.

Over the years, I learned the spiritual value of tobacco, coca, and ayahuasca, as well as the profound respect we must have for nature, the spirits of the jungle, and all forms of life. My upbringing has been based on the teachings of my elders, who instilled in me the importance of serving with humility, responsibility, and love.

Today, at 29, I continue walking this ancestral path with my husband, Taita Samith Osorio. Thanks to the Great Spirit, we have built a beautiful family with our children, who are a constant inspiration to continue strengthening this legacy of wisdom and service.

My purpose is to accompany people on their journeys of spiritual growth, self-discovery, and connection with nature, sharing the teachings I have received from my ancestors and the traditional medicines of our culture. I deeply believe in the power of healing when it is approached with love, respect, awareness, and gratitude.

With humility, I continue to learn every day, honoring the roots of my people and carrying forward the ancestral knowledge entrusted to me, with the desire to contribute to the well-being of those seeking a path of harmony, balance, and connection with the Great Spirit.
